Fortunately few of us have to undergo a personal tragedy involving a cherished child. Fewer still have the courage and clarity to put into words the heart-rending emotions and the abject incomprehension of the circumstances that have wracked their lives. This is what George Musgrave has endured, and in this little book he has allowed us a glimpse of his personal grief and we can try to understand the sorrow of parents who have to take this bitterest of pills. By reading this memoir we gain an appreciation of the devastating experiences faced by those who lose a loved one, but also we witness the faith that sustained this pastor from London's East End during this difficult time. Maybe, like Martin's parents, `our lives can be enriched because he dwelled with us for a while'. "The reason for putting this story into print is because we would like to extend the influence of our son's life and to pass on to others in similar circumstances who ask the eternal `Why?"
